CULTURA AVENTURA SPANISH SCHOOL: All levels of Spanish instruction! Small groups & private classes Special programs for area residents! Faride Trujillo, M.A. Master of Arts in Spanish Language and Culture 10 years of experience teaching Spanish as a second LanguagePlaya Carmen Frank’s Place Hotel, next to Alamo 506 2640 1011 info@cultuaventura.com

Learning a new language is one of the most rewarding experiences in life. It opens the doors to a brand new world! It is more than just memorizing words or grammar concepts, it is about seeing, interpreting and expressing your thoughts in a whole new way. That is what I usually tell my students when they try to translate from English to Spanish and find that sometimes there is not an exact word by word translation for their ideas. For example, in English you would say "I am hungry" while in Spanish it would be "tengo hambre", literally meaning: "I have hunger".

We use "I have" instead of "I am" to express a wide range of emotions and states of being, including your age.

In my Spanish classes I encourage students to open up to this new world and to discover a new culture through language and traditions. I use active and fun learning techniques such as games and role playing. Students will also learn grammar in context and build a good foundation for future learning. The classes at Cultu Aventura are design to last one week (10 hours) with levels varying from Survival to Advanced Conversational. There are also special programs for area residents and private lessons.

I wish you an amazing stay here in the Southern Nicoya Peninsula, talk to the locals, make friends and discover

"Un Nuevo Mundo".

Faride Trujillo has a Masters in Spanish degree from the University of South Florida and has been a Spanish instructor for over 10 years. In addition to opening CultuAventura, she teaches Spanish online for a University in the US and leads its Spanish immersion programs to Latin America and Spain.
